Vihiga Governor Hosts KNCCI President, Signs MoU to Foster Businesses Locally

The County Government of Vihiga has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry – KNCCI a move that is expected to enhance business opportunities.

The signing was witnessed by Vihiga governor Dr. Wilber Ottichilo in the Company of Dr. Erick Ruto – KNCCI President, Mr. John Shimaka – KNCCI Western Director, Dr. Billy Nyonje – KNCCI Vihiga Chapter among other County Executive and Officers.

Through the memorandum, the Vihiga County administration has advocated and established a prime environment for investment and trade/business.

The County bost ofย  readily available investment opportunities in Processing Plants towards value addition, Exploitation of our natural resources (land minerals) – gold mining, granite processing, Tourism, Retail and Commercial business investments and Public-Private-Partnerships

The Economic growth and prosperity of Vihiga County will be realized faster through concerted efforts of the County Government, Private Sector investors and the Vihiga Business Community.

Vihiga administration will support this endeavour by implementing good governance and county legislation; that promotes and sustains a conducive environment for businesses
